In February 2025, Air Dash officially launched its service in Guyana, marking a major milestone in regional air mobility. The event featured keynote addresses from Dr. Peter Ramsaroop and Air Dash CEO Gerald Gouveia Jr., both of whom emphasized a powerful vision — one where aviation becomes a driver of national transformation.

“Aviation isn’t just about moving from point A to point B — it’s about opening doors to opportunity.”– Dr. Peter Ramsaroop, Chief Investment Officer and Head of the Guyana Office for Investment

In his remarks, Dr. Ramsaroop spoke to the broader mission of Air Dash — not merely as a transport service, but as a force multiplier for Guyana’s economic development. By improving connectivity, driving innovation, and opening up underserved regions, Air Dash is contributing to a new era of accessibility and opportunity across the country.

Aviation that Reaches Further

From Mahdia to Lethem, and from Ogle to Essequibo, small aircraft unlock access to regions previously limited by difficult terrain and long travel times. This reach is more than logistical — it’s transformational.

  • Access to Remote Areas: Air Dash makes it easier to deliver services, move goods, and connect people in the hinterland and interior.

  • Local Economic Growth: Entrepreneurs, miners, farmers, and tourism operators now have faster access to key markets.

  • Emergency Support: Whether in flood season or during medical emergencies, fast air travel often becomes the only viable response.

  • Investment Enabler: As Guyana’s economy accelerates, dependable air mobility is vital for supporting growth in oil & gas, hospitality, and logistics.

“At Air Dash, we’re more than just an executive aviation service — we’re a reflection of what’s possible when experience meets vision.”– Captain Gerald Gouveia Jr., CEO, Air Dash

Captain Gouveia Jr., a respected pilot and aviation leader, shared how Air Dash was born from the legacy and expertise of Roraima Airways — a company with over 30 years of service in Guyana’s skies. Through this partnership, Air Dash isn’t just launching flights; it’s launching a movement — one that links interior communities to the coast, businesses to opportunities, and travelers to a safer, faster way to move.

From 10 Minutes to Nationwide Reach

What began as 10-minute executive shuttle flights between Ogle and CJIA has evolved into a broader mission. Today, Air Dash is expanding across Guyana, offering service to Lethem and soon to Berbice, Bartica, Mahdia, and other regional hubs.

Air Dash is committed to creating a national air network that reflects the country’s rapid development. This means staying responsive, building with intention, and scaling with sustainability in mind.

As Captain Gouveia Jr., former President of the Aircraft Owners Association of Guyana, aptly noted — leadership in aviation is not just about miles flown; it’s about how far your vision can take the country.

The Journey Ahead

At Air Dash, the goal is clear: to build a smarter, safer, and more connected Guyana. One flight at a time. One community at a time.

We're just getting started.
